The Reviewers

This was originally my first post and realized it would be better to have a full page dedicated to who the reviewers will be on this site since the list will be growing XD.  I will be the main person on the page and will be sharing with you the opinions of my co-works and friends as we try out foods that are new to us.

This is a quick rundown of people reviewing and how their taste-buds work so you can figure out who you might relate to the most:  (Please Note: The names provided are nicknames each person has chosen to be refereed to in reviews.)

1: Me (Tabi aka Corliss) 30 year old female who will try anything as not as I am allergic to it.
spicy foods:I love spicy food, the hotter the better, i constantly put crushed red pepper on all my foods. Dependent on my mood i sometimes add 2-3 different types of heat to my food like: crushed red pepper along with TacoBell Fire sauce (has lowest sodium) and sometimes i also add Texas Pete to it so i get a trifecta of different heat. Also, on occasion if i have a jar handy i will put sliced jalapeno peppers on my food along with my other favorites.
Sweet foods: I love chocolate, since going clean eating years ago i no longer like regular milk chocolate but love dark chocolate that is 70% cocoa or higher but i still enjoy a few lower percentages like Hershey’s special dark chocolate. White chocolate still has its own special place in my heart but i don’t go out of my way to buy it. I love fruits, candies, ice creams, caramel… pretty much anything of decent quality. Though most recently i cannot handle cookies that are coated in powdered sugar, it gives me a weird nail’s on a chalk board feeling,
Sour foods: I cannot handle sour foods and refrain from putting salt on anything, if it has salt on it i will brush as much as i can off it..  But i do love lemon and key lime flavored foods, but i think that is more tart with a lot of sweetness.
Savory foods:  I am down for it as long as the sodium is low and doesn’t smell like crapola.
Coffee:  I dislike the smell and taste of it, i technically cannot have it because it gives me heart palpitations.
Pizza:  I like to eat the crust mostly since i watch my calorie intake, but when i dive in!  Chain Stores: I prefer Dominoes over Pizza Hut, Pizza hut makes me sick after 1 slice where i can eat an entire pizza from Dominoes. Mom& Pop shops:  I like the outer crust to be a bit puffy but i am fine with thin crust aka Brooklyn style and hand tossed.  i prefer a non-sweet sauce with no onions. toppings:i am quite adventurous and will try anything that is not contain pork or fish, my favorite is spinach & chicken, i usually get veggie bianco’s because it fits my macros the best.

2: Tony Kent (co-worker) is young athletic male who likes exotic, new experiences when it comes to foods. Refers to himself as a bottomless pit with no standards.
spicy foods: Likes spicy foods
sweet foods:  not into them
sour foods: only if it is mixed with sweet foods
Savory foods:  steaks are awesome along with anything else that is well seasoned.
Coffee: prefers iced black coffee and frequents dunkin’ donuts
Pizza: I like pizza with small amounts of cheese but with more sauce, Chain Stores:
Pizza hut is probably the only chain I like.

3: Fawkes (co-worker) young female who is not into trying out new foods but gives into my persistent offerings of food.
Spicy foods:  i am not a huge fan of spice; mild sauces can sometimes be too much.
Sweet foods: i love milk chocolate
Sour Foods: I don’t hate them, i like sour patch stuff but warheads can be too much. Lemon can be ok at times.
Savory foods: crabs, shrimp, pizza, Chinese, mac and cheese, potato anything
my hiericy of ‘foods’ is: seafood, pizza, chocolate, Chinese, tacos
Coffee: i like strong coffee. generally plain flavors, unless there’s like a splash of french vanilla, i prefer curry donuts hot coffee. dunkin donuts iced coffee (only in the summer)
Pizza: i prefer mom and pop shops– a little more cheese than sauce. i HATE sweet sauce
im partial between a good scicilian(?) slice and a good traditional flat/circle piece
i like plain, sometimes a little onion, depending on the pizza. If i had to choose between pizza hut and Dominoes (ick) i would have to choose Dominoes.

4: LadyDragon (co-worker): is a mom….. always looking for Healthy alternatives to eating. I try to stick with foods that are high in protein and no carbs or minimal Carbs…Love FOOD…. Ha ha Love trying new things.
Spicy foods: I enjoy as long as the spicy does not over take the flavor. Mexican is one of my Favorite type of foods.
Sweet foods: I like but try to stay away from.
Sour foods: I like if we are talking Sweet and Sour Chicken. 🙂
Savory foods: Like.
Coffee: Decaf Only because I have a sensitivity to caffeine.
Pizza: Oh We eat a lot of Pizza. It’s my daughters fav’s. My favorite local pizza not chain stores; If I was forced into eating from a chain store I would prefer Dominoes and I would select there White Cheese Steak Pizza.  My perfect pizza would have a lot of Cheese and I like when you hold up the slice that it flops over.  Basically a messy pizza XD I don’t care for sweet sauce pizza. You have to have just the right amount of sauce and cheese. I do like a White Broccoli slice here and there but I have to be in the mood for it. If I select a topping it’s usually bacon.

5: HawkMan (brother-in-law): Young athletic guy who eats everything organic and makes 90% of his foods from scratch. Willing to try anything that fits within my standards of prepackaged foods.
Sweet Foods: prefers all organic with the least amount of ingredients unless i make it myself.
Sour Foods: I only eat naturally sour fruits.
Savory foods: love them as long as i make it myself.
Coffee: maybe in ice cream form, vary rarely maybe once every two years
Pizza: Pizza Hut is too greasy and Dominoes is overly seasoned, I would not eat either. I make my own pizza with fresh mozzarella, organic tomatoes sauce (i do not sweeten it) and use all organic flour for pizza dough.

6: Kmama (co-worker and friend) has been gluten-free for over a year and is on the search to find great tasting gluten-free foods and meals.
Likes: Sweet, Sour, Savory foods and enjoys having coffee every morning.
Dislikes: Spicy foods
Pizza: enjoys sweet sauces with herbs, fresh basil, oregano, parsley and enjoys having mushrooms, onions, and meat toppings.

Also if you were wondering what in the world the yellow thing is underneath the foods. It is a 9.5 in x 9.5 in board that is used by a seamstresses and i am using it to give an idea on the actual size of the food item since it is hard to tell in most pictures.
